Overview / Using the generator

create

Reference

The generator turns a written requirement into a finished form. Nothing is assembled field by field: the topic is decided, the requirement is written out, and the form is delivered.

1. Choose the topic

The first step is deciding what the form is to be about. The topic frames everything that follows, because the requirement written in the next step is read against it.

2. Write the requirement

The requirement is written through a chat interface, in ordinary sentences describing what the form needs to ask. The requirement is the whole of the input; there is no separate field editor to fill in first.

3. Collect the form from Drive

Once the requirement has been given, the form is created and added to the owner's Google Drive as a Google Form. The delivered form is the finished artefact; it is not held on this site.

Editing a delivered form

A delivered form can be customised and edited afterwards in Drive, in the same way as any other Google Form. Editing does not consume a further token, because a token is consumed at generation.

Input-language detection

The language of the requirement is detected from the input rather than chosen from a list, and the generated form follows the language that was detected.

Form kinds

The generator is used for forms, surveys, quizes and questionnaires. All four are produced through the same three steps and are metered the same way.

The flow in short

step 1 choose the topic
step 2 write the requirement in the chat interface
step 3 collect the Google Form from Drive
after edit the form in Drive as needed
